Yesterday, Chance the Rapper hosted a free concert called called “Parade to the Polls” in Chicago’s Grant Park and then led the thousands of concert-goers to a nearby early voting super center, WLS-TV reports.
Malcolm London, Twin Peaks, Chance’s brother Taylor Bennett, and the Kit Kat spokesman himself all performed at the show, which was organized by Chance’s non-profit Social Works. Chance also performed at a rally for Hillary Clinton this past weekend in Cleveland.
Chance’s march was apparently successful. “This is the largest turnout I’ve seen for early voting since I’ve worked here,” volunteer Ronald Johnson told WLS-TV last night.
