Just in time for your weekend, here’s “Move Me,” a joyous new cut from the French disco legend Cerrone, complete with a video that takes you inside what looks like an extremely fun club night. The song, which premiered at the Fader, features Brendan Reilly on vocals, and comes from Cerrone’s forthcoming full-length Red Lips.
Cerrone, a composer and producer, is responsible for disco hits like the spectacularly sleazy epic “Love In C Minor.” “Move Me,” sounds like a hi-fi update on his classic sounds, minus the sex noises and stuff. According to a statement Cerrone gave to the Fader, “Move Me” was recorded with all live instruments, just like his 1970s material. You can hear it. Listen below.
